Materials
To manufacture our ribbons, we use various yarns. This way, we are well-equipped and offer the right solution for every application.
Overview
Polyester
The synthetic fiber based on petroleum is obtained through the melt spinning process. The easy-care yarn hardly absorbs moisture.
Polyamide
The material consists of amino acids that are transformed and pressed through spinnerets. The result: a continuous filament that is very elastic, abrasion-resistant, and tear-resistant.
Polypropylene
The lightweight plastic fiber is moisture-repellent and is therefore often used in the sports and outdoor sector.
Cotton
The advantages of the renewable raw material are its durability and softness. However, it has low elasticity.
Acrylic
Visually, the material resembles wool and also has similar properties. The artificially produced fabric is used as a blend or in pure form.
Wool
The protein fiber usually comes from sheep and has good elasticity. However, it is sensitive and can easily shrink and felt.
Viscose
Viscose is easy to dye but quite temperature sensitive and not very elastic. The fabric scores with a silky shine.
Monofilaments
Monofils are wire-like polymer strands that are produced through an extrusion melt spinning process. They are well suited for the production of straps and hoses.
Rubber
The raw material is obtained from rubber trees and is both elastic and stable. It is used in the textile industry but also in hoses.
